A lighthearted attempt at applying a ratings scale to funny movies.  Not quite certain that it will catch on, but it sure was fun to write, produce and predit!  I cut this piece on Avid and applied music and sound effects as needed.  Enjoy!

Field produced and interviewed talent for this E-News piece, then raced to an edit to write and produce the spot prior to the broadcast premiere of HBO Films Elizabeth I.  Was I indeed fortunate enough to actually interview Helen Mirren?  Wondering if she turned out to be even more awesome and gracious in real life than you could imagine?  Will I ever get another assignment as much fun as this?  Answers: yes, yes, and I sure hope so!

Producing a spot on election day 2012 for NBC News was a very exciting assignment.  I will always remember staying up really, really late watching election results trickle in while creating this spot.

Launching Sundance Channel's block of green themed programming with a group of image spots featuring Robert Redford was a choice assignment.  I wrote and produced four image spots from an interview shoot conducted by Sundance Channel's president, Sarah Barnett.

One of the first spots I ever created as a preditor using Avid.  Wanted to create a lingering impression with a catchy piece of stock music.  Fortunately, I found the absolutely perfect track to tell the story of the horror of love gone so very, very wrong.

It's always a challenge to promote documentaries regardless of the topic. There's so much hard work that goes into making a compelling documentary that I always feel a little added pressure to deliver the audience they truly deserve.  Here's an example of a spot I was very proud of that I felt lived up to the quality of the film I was asked to promote.

I love working on movie trailers.  Here's an example of a theatrical film I was tasked to promote for its premiere on HBO.  The challenge in promoting films opening in a pay window is to create interest in a film that has already received the full studio marketing treatment in its first run.  Renewing interest in a film title for subsequent windows is an opportunity to bring out different elements in a film and give it a fresh appeal for audiences who may not have been lured in by the campaign for its initial release.  I predited this spot on Avid.  

My first week working in news promotion was during Super Storm Sandy.  An experience I'll never forget.
